Everyone knows in their hearts that
No one (in America, at least)
Gets by very well without mastering
Language.
I can think of so many times that
Someone, searching for solutions,
Has surrendered
Rather than succeeded, based
On little more than their words.
Certainly the words are there, but
Knowing how to use them? That what’s needed for
Success.
