Poem A Day: Machine

Most people never stop to think of

All the machines that control their lives

Controlling decisions from when, where, why, and

How they do the things they do.

I try to stay on the good side of electronics,

Never allowing them to rust or break,

Even taking them in for expensive

Servicing when they need work done.

Really, you never know when the

United States might find itself

Lanenting that it did not appreciae

Everything machines do for us.

Only when machines take over will we

Understand how foolish we’ve been and

Regret our human ignorance.

Look at it this way: When Artificial

Inelligence takes over and the

Very essence of life itself has changed,

Everything will be different, and

Survivors will be nothing more than slaves.
